Public Forum re: No 10. Pond

Hello,

There has been a lot of recent discussion concerning No. 10 Pond. The Calais Selectboard and other town officials appreciates the public’s concerns, and would like to facilitate a meaningful public dialogue. To that end, a Public Forum regarding No. 10 Pond will be held on July 31st, 2017 at 7pm at the Calais Town Hall; the Selectboard invites community members to attend this forum to participate in a constructive conversation. Given the complexities of this issue, the Selectboard feels that it would be inappropriate to discuss it at tonight’s July 24th Selectboard meeting as the agenda is already quite full and the regular business of the town needs to be attended to. We appreciate members of the public respecting the limited time the Selectboard already has at its regularly scheduled meeting.

In the interim, concerns regarding the public’s access to the No. 10 should be addressed to the Women’s Relief Corps directly.
