This just came to my attention. This event is offered by the Vermont Coverts. I am not aware of when it starts but a call to Tim will get you both the time and the directions to the property in Peacham.

This Saturday, July29, join Cooperator Tim McKay at the Comerci property in Peacham to look at recent and planned management. Redstart Forestry helped the Comercis develop their plan and is now assisting with its execution. Last winter a local logger came in with a feller-buncher, grapple skidder, and chipper to clean out some pasture pine that was dominating a young forest on what used to be a hillside pasture. More work is planned and marked for next winter. Redstart is also dealing with a pretty severe honeysuckle problem. This property is near the epicenter of the worst honeysuckle in the area and the Comercis are one of several adjoining landowners working to gain control.
