The Conservation Walk is approaching! The New Haven Conservation Committee and Jim and Cathy Walsh will be hosting the walk on July 29, 10am, starting at 690 Pearson Rd., New Haven. There will be an opportunity to see an active wild honey bee tree. If you are allergic to bee stings you may avoid this area on the walk. Participants will pass through the Evarts cemetery, one of New Haven’s oldest; and part of a legal trail in New Haven’s northwest quarter, with abundant wildlife and offering views to the west and south. For more information, contact Susan Smiley, 388 6601.
