Golden Well Farm and Apiaries was knocked out in the recent flood. On Wednesday August 2nd you can do your part to help... by going to the Bobcat Cafe and Brewery! 20% of all food revenue that night will go to the farm- so come hungry, make a reservation, and invite some friends.

Nicole, Ryan, and the rest of the good folks on the farm are digging out from the mess, but here's the story: On July 1st they had all of their fields flood, save a small half acre patch. Since it's against the law to sell flooded crops, and you can't plant a field until 40 days after a flood, their highest grossing fields are out of production for the summer. They barely got a thing from crop insurance, so they are diversifying.
Queue Erin and Sanderson Wheeler: the Chef/Owners of the Bobcat Cafe and Brewery. They graciously set aside every Wednesday to help different folks across our community in just this way- and we've chosen August 2nd to be the Golden Well Benefit.
