I hope everyone in Stowe is enjoying all the wonderful things you bought at last year’s EPIC yard sale! I’m sure your eyes still tear up when you gaze at your fantastic acquisitions. You probably even mentioned it in your Christmas Card letters to friends and family. I can’t say I blame you… it really was EPIC.
So…. Great News! We’re having another EPIC yard sale this weekend at 702 Taber Ridge Road. Yes, you read that correctly. Another yard sale THIS WEEKEND July 22 & 23 from 9am until it’s gone. You will find:
Electronics: Several iPad 2’s, dvd players, kindle, tablet, clocks, printers, games and other things with screens plugs and batteries that make noise.
Tables, Tables Tables! End tables, bedside tables, coffee tables, accent tables, multiplication tables, etc.
Couches of all kinds: Pull out, futon, sectionals, nice couches, ugly couches, etc. If you can sit on it, we’re selling it.
Office Furniture: Go ahead and set up the home office you’ve always wanted! We have a U shaped desk with locking drawers, mini fridge, 7 black pleather office chairs, 12 foot whiteboards (why do we have these?) and a contemporary paperclip style desk which I love and will undoubtedly regret selling later.
Dressers: Wooden, well made and functional. Your clothing will thank you for their new luxury accommodations.
Rugs: All shapes, styles and sizes. Patterned, plain and everything in between.
Home Décor: Fill up those empty corners and shelves with any of the various accents available. From designer to kitch, your house will be ready to grace the cover of ELLE Décor Magazine by the end of the day.
Gun Cabinet: It came with the house, OK?
And last but not least….
Free Advice! I’m full of great ideas (that I obviously never did) for updating and fixing up all the various knick nacks and doo-dads for sale. Look at this as an opportunity to get an easy and fun second job – flip this stuff! You could buy a set of inexpensive lamps and a can of spray paint and resell them at 10x the price! Heck, everything will look so great I might even buy it back when it reappears on FPF!
There is so much more that I can’t even remember (literally 4 garages full!) and trust me - you won’t want to miss these deals. We are about 1.5 miles from the village on Taber Ridge Road (off Taber Hill Road). Just follow the crowds and lines of traffic en route to this year's EPIC yard sale and you’ll find all these things and more. Guaranteed to be the highlight of your year! I mean, how else could you top last year’s Christmas card letter?
