You won't want to miss the northeast premiere of DC Cathro's hoot of a comedy "Family Holiday", this Friday July 21st at 7:30pm at Chandler Music Hall.
In this fast-paced production, directed by Nancy Manney, RJ goes home to Montpelier for the holidays, hoping to have a relaxing time with his family and best friend. He arrives to find his sister newly single, his Nana on a health kick, his mother dashing in and out, and his father nervous about all of the strange behavior. Secrets are revealed and RJ is stuck in the middle of this farce for modern times.
Playwright DC Cathro will be attending, and in the post-performance talkback you'll have the chance to ask him and the ensemble about the play. After the talkback, there'll be a complimentary reception with homemade treats in the Gallery.
Featured in the cast are Andra Kisler of Northfield, Gene Kraus of Bethel, Amanda Menard of Montpelier, Lava Mueller of Randolph Center, Lennon Philo of Brandon, and Carol Ruzicka of Rochester. Director Nancy Manney is a Brandon resident too.
A second performance of "Family Holiday" will be presented on Saturday July 29th at 7:30pm.
