League of Vermont Writers’ 2nd Biennial INTO THE WORDS writing program and member showcase will be returning to author Jerry Johnson’s scenic, historic schoolhouse farm on Creek Road.
Half-hour and hour-long presentations and workshops focus on various elements of writing, publishing, and book marketing and are open to all. Presenters include poets, the author of a bio-terrorism thriller, a hit songwriter, a photojournalist; topics further include Public Speaking Techniques, Inspiring the Minds of Childhood, Living Beyond Trauma through Writing, Revising and Self-Editing, and Defining your Persona Platform and Plan.
Registration is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
The day will include an ice-cream social provided by the League, and a bring-your-own-bagged-lunch picnic, an ideal opportunity to network and take in the scenery. At any point in the program, attendees can skip a session and opt to write, socialize with other writers, or explore the pastoral setting.
