Get ready for the school year with Math Skills Boot-camp for grades 8-11

Topics: Foundations of Math and Algebra, Early Pre-Calculus Skills
This camp will be well differentiated and will address a variety of math skills.

Teacher: Vanessa Matos
Vanessa received her BS in Environmental Science and Public Health at the University of North Carolina and is currently at student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at UVM. Vanessa was a mathematics teaching apprentice at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, CO in 2012. During the intervening two years, she taught math, coached soccer and Nordic skiing, and was a dorm parent at The Putney School in Putney, VT. She has been tutoring VCS students in math for the last two years. Her expertise in the field of mathematics, her understanding of the diverse needs of students, and her love of helping kids understand math make her an outstanding "math boot-camp" teacher.
