Our July quarterly meeting, "Exploring Our Collections" will take the form of an Open House led by Directors Tom Zopf and Chuck Fish, who have assembled interesting artifacts from our collections. Many have been locked away for years and will a treat to remember or visit for the first time. Do you remember the Kathan rifle? or the Bicentennial Quilts? Dummerston has a lot of interesting history, displayed at the Schoolhouse in Dummerston Center next to the Town Office. Special tribute will be paid to Green Mountain Camp as the camp is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. An album of the Homemakers' Camp from 1940-1961 may be of special interest. A brief business meeting will be at 7 pm, followed by the program and Open House.
All are welcome, admission is free and the Schoolhouse is handicapped accessible. Info: 802-254-9311
