Bard Owl Returns to Four Columns

Past event
Jul 26, 2017

Bard Owl is featured again at Four Columns Inn's Music Night on Wednesday, July 26, from 6 to 9pm. Bard Owl, an acoustic duo with T. Breeze Verdant and Annie Landenberger, delivers driving rhythms and sweet harmonies in an eclectic range of old tunes and new. Verdant plays guitar, works the stompbox drum, and sings. At age 3 he started singing Little Richard and Elvis interspersed with military tunes while laying in bed at night. He has since dropped the military sounds, allows others to sleep and always loves a good tune. Annie Landenberger has been singing in all genres since age 6 when she regaled her parents' dinner guests with a litany of Mitch Miller favorites. Together since December, their new sound has been heard in various venues regionally and beyond.

Special guest on July 26 is Albany-based fiddler Stephen Iachetta, with whom Verdant has been partnering for 12 years. Iachetta, the "Shaker fiddler," is known for his highly nuanced and varied sound.

Four Columns Inn is on the Common off Rte. 30 in Newfane, Vermont. There's no cover and patrons are encouraged to come for drinks or a meal--off either the dining room or tavern menu--to enjoy while listening.
