ESSEX JUNCTION IS THE FIRST ROAD PITCH STOP ON JULY 31
EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
ROAD PITCH VISITS TO 10 VERMONT TOWNS
Make time in your busy schedule to watch 6 business risk takers reveal their business plans during their 7 minute “shark tank-like pitch” – each hoping to become the next Vermont business to “make it big”. The pitch venue is the remarkable showroom of Green Mountain Harley Davidson and the principal audience is venture capital investors and entrepreneurial advisers who are spending the week on motorcycles touring Vermont to hear business proposals.
The entrepreneurs expected to tell their business story in Essex are:
• Packetized Energy – Jeff Frolik, UVM Prof / Essex Resident / UVM Project
• The Simmering Bone – Rachel Collier, Essex Junction
• Health Kingdom / Green Juice – Prince Awhaitey, Burlington
• Flyway Yoga – Betsy Nesbitt, Burlington
• Courtney Reckord Jewelry – Courtney Reckord, South Burlington
• MajorWise – Max Robbins & Peter Silverman, Burlington / UVM
The “pitchers” is competing for a $500 local prize and a Vermont Teddy Bear “Biker Bear” and winner at Essex will compete in October for a statewide award of $4,000.
You are invited to attend - to listen - and to imagine yourself coming up with an exciting business idea and sharing it publicly for the first time. There is always next year!!
Green Mountain Harley Davidson (157 Pearl Street), our host for the morning, is providing attendees coffee, juice and other breakfast items to help us through this intense and engaging session.
FreshTracks Capital Road Pitch is a multi-day motorcycle trip around Vermont where a pack of motorcycle riders with investing, entrepreneurial/business and business advisory experience ride together and stop in towns where “Local Hosts” have organized a pitch session for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to the group.
