The Winooski Food Shelf, located in the Winooski United Methodist Church, at the corner of West Allen and Follett Streets will be passing out turkeys and fixings from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to our clients. We would be most grateful for donations of turkeys, fixings, or anything that would help our friends and neighbors enjoy their Thanksgiving. We will be accepting turkeys starting at 4 p.m. until around 6:30 p.m.. Please feel free to call the church at 655-7371 with any questions or to make different arrangements. We are serving over 70 families per month. Thank you for helping to make this food shelf a blessing to these families. Anyone living in Winooski who is in financial need is eligible for food shelf assistance. Anyone needing a turkey should also call the church with your name and request for a turkey or chicken.
