Join the Bixby Memorial Free Library for an excursion on Lake Champlain. Archeologist, professor and author Kevin Crisman will discuss the history of steamboats in our area during a 45-minute presentation titled "The Water Witch, Jahaziel Sherman, and Steamboats built in Vergennes". The cruise is around 90-minutes long and will include a stop over the wreck of the Water Witch, one of Jahaziel Sherman’s crafts.
Kevin Crisman’s latest book "Coffins of the Brave" can be found at the Bixby Library.
