Farm to Ballet to Visit South Albany - Sunday

Farm to Ballet is coming to Heartwood Farm in South Albany on Sunday, July 16.
The Farm to Ballet Project is a dance project intended to celebrate Vermont’s farming culture while expanding classical ballet’s audience.

The schedule of events for the day begins at 4 p.m. when doors open for local food, a bar, kids’ activities, cheese tastings, farm tours, and more.
Ballet with a live orchestra gets underway at 6 p.m.
People can dance to the Bread and Puppet brass band starting at 7 p.m., followed by a bonfire at 9 p.m.
Children 12 and under are free. The general admission price is $16.50. Tickets can be purchased online at www.heartwoodvt.com, or through the Flynn Theater box office.
People are advised to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating.
Heartwood Farm is located at 1710 Centebar Road in Albany. Organizers say there won’t be reliable cell or GPS service to rely on, but signs will be set up directing people from Craftsbury, Greensboro, Barton, and Glover.
