Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America (or so the internet says) and it's taking off in several communities in the Northeast Kingdom and in Stowe. Several of us are interested in exploring how and where this sport could become available in Hardwick. A town Recreation Committee member, several local pickleball players and a W. Glover resident who plays regularly with a sizable group farther north will be meeting at the Town Offices at 9:30AM on Wednesday the 19th to toss this idea around and explore options and possible venues.

This sport is suitable for young and old and does not require expensive equipment to play. Everyone I've talked to who plays it is very enthusiastic about how much fun and good exercise it is.

If there are any other Pickleball enthusiasts out there, please join us on the 19th. We welcome all comers.
