The Vermont Art in State Buildings Program has selected the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph Center for this year's recipient. You may be familiar with some of these artists from their work across the state; come see what they have in mind for this public space.

Four artist/teams will present preliminary design concepts for a $38,000 public art installation at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery, Randolph Center, Vermont. The public is invited to attend a presentation by four artist/artist teams of preliminary concepts for a work of public art to be installed at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery. The artists will present images, drawings, plans, or models as available. The project is part of the Vermont Art in State Buildings Program administered by the Vermont Arts Council in partnership with the Vermont Department of Buildings and General Services.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, July 18 at 1:30 pm in Conant Hall Room 105, Vermont Technical College, Randolph Center. Members of the public are welcome to attend and are encouraged to RSVP to Michele Bailey, 802.828.3294 or mbailey@vermontartscouncil.org .
The four artist finalists were chosen from a pool of 13 applicants. Following the public presentation, the Project Review Committee, made up of building employees, community members, and visual arts experts will meet to determine which artist/team will be selected to create the final work.
