Conscious Roots will liven the Tuesday Night Live Outdoor Stage
on July 18th, 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the Legion Field, School Street,
Johnson.
As Northern Vermont’s roots reggae band, Conscious Roots creates a
mix of original music blending afro-beat rhythms, ska, jazz and rock.
Bring your dancing shoes. Last seen on the TNL outdoor stage July 2011.
Tuesday Night Live is a free, family friendly event. Just bring a blanket or chair. Parking is along School Street, in the elementary School Parking lot, and at the McClelland Building lot on College Hill. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but it is only lightning and thunder that cancels the event.
The Johnson Historical Society will be serving slices of homemade pie along grilled McKenzie hot dogs and homemade potato salad. There will be lots of other food choices on the Legion Field including: JJ's Maple Cotton Candy, Green Mountain Kettle Corn, Papa Gyro, Hot Tamale, Kingdom Creamery, Mediterranean Mix, Nepalese Himalayan Food, Northern Fire and Slice, Big Jay Tavern, Miso Hungry Noodle Bowls, and Caja Madera Taco Truck.
Be sure to note the sponsors posted on the yellow sign-board next to the TNL stage. It is a free concert thanks to their generosity.
