Peer Support Group Focused on Mental Health

Peer support group open to anyone looking for support for their mental health issues sponsored by National Alliance of Mental Health VT. The next gathering of people to connect and share is is Thursday April 13th from 4:00 to 5:30. This group is held every 2nd Thursday of the month at Central Vermont Medical Center in the Board Room. NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group Meetings are a free, weekly 90-minute recovery support group for people living with mental illness where people learn from one another’s experiences, share coping strategies and offer mutual encouragement and understanding. The groups provide an ongoing opportunity to discuss the challenges of living with mental illness and the techniques for maintaining wellness. All meetings are facilitated by trained NAMI peers living in recovery.
