Greetings All!
The Franklin Watershed Committee will host this workshop for folks interested in learning more about the birds that call Lake Carmi their home. We'll discuss the variety of habitats found around the lake and the diversity of bird species there throughout the year at this birding hotspot. We'll also discuss how to become better stewards of this unique community, creating healthy habitats that are good for people, birds, and water quality.
Entrance to Lake Carmi State Park will be waived for attendees; Franklin Watershed Committee is asking for a donation of $5-$10 for participation. The event will take place next to the public beach - look for the signs.
Questions? Call John from the watershed committee at 802-363-3503.
