PLEASE JOIN US for 350VT’s Summer “Pop-Up” in RUTLAND, July 12-15
Concerned about climate change and wanting to do something about it? Connect with a statewide community of climate activists at 350 Vermont's summer Pop-Up series (a kind of “traveling roadshow” and listening tour promoting climate change awareness and action for climate justice) which will set up “camp” in downtown Rutland from Wednesday evening, July 12 – Saturday, July 15. There will be workshops and trainings (see schedule below) and opportunities to share ideas and inspiration for action with climate and social justice activists from all over Vermont.
The Pop-Up will kick off with a free showing of Waking the Sleeping Giant at the Paramount Theater on July 12 at 7:00 p.m. (sponsored by Same Sun of Vermont). Starting on Thursday, July 13, head to Depot Park to check out the traveling climate justice exhibit, featuring info booths, art, postcard-writing, kids’ activities, a raffle, the chance to share your experiences, and more!
