Green Eggs and Ham and the Historic Barn House

Past event
Jul 16, 2017, 2 to 4 PM

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

"Barn House, shmarm house. Why would I want to have a tour of an old building?," you ask.

"Well," we say. "For one, thing it's free. At least it is free this month of July. For another thing, it's not a tour of just ONE old building- it's actually a tour of TWO old buildings-- a beautiful 18th century granary and cow barn-- lovingly preserved and joined together twenty-five years ago by Jack Clemmons."

"Hmmmmm.....," you say, arching an eyebrow with mild interest.

"And for yet another thing..." we say, feeling a bit like Sam-I-Am trying to convince his friend to taste the green eggs and ham, "...just ask the four fabulous neighbors from Charlotte and Ferrisburg who signed up for Monday's free tour of the historic Barn House. They had a WONDERFUL time!"

"Ok, ok, so maybe I'll try it, Clemmons Family Farm-I-Am," you say, a tad more interested now that you know some of your own friends and neighbors enjoyed the Barn House tour.

"Great!," we say with delight. "There's another opportunity coming up this Sunday, July 16 from 2 - 4 pm!"

To ensure the quality of the experience, we are limiting admission to 15 people. This Sunday, if we are lucky, the amazing young photographers who produced "POC- The Power of Color" exhibit may be visiting the historic Barn House by happy chance around 2 pm as well. If they are there, we know they'll be thrilled to share some of their experiences in producing the stunning photography exhibit of multicultural young adults in Hardwick, Vermont that's on display on the upper level.
