Making a Maze at the Museum

Past event
Jul 9, 2017, 2 to 4 PM

Do your kids like to tinker? Come on down and join Scott Davison, Education Director, for an afternoon of maze making. The Museum will have plenty of simple materials and tools on hand for up to 12 children to each make their own cardboard marble maze to take home. Kids from 6-10 will enjoy the opportunity to explore the engineering process – to plan, gather materials, build, test and revise their constructions.
Children attending the program must be accompanied by an adult. Admission to the Museum is $8 for adults and free for students and kids on this day. There is no additional charge for the program.
Come early or stay afterwards so you can visit with our high school and college student interns staffing the Working Machine Shop. Explore interactive activities and see demonstrations on both historic and contemporary manufacturing machines.
