Peacham Library will hold its 207th Annual Meeting on Monday, July 10 at 6:30pm. Following the business portion of the meeting, Stergios Lazos, the Upper School Director at Lyndon Institute, will speak. The title of his talk is "Back to the Future: Lessons learned from the One Room School House."

The leading educators today are advocating a proficiency and project based curriculum for our students in all our schools. In addition, professional development for teachers is centered on helping our children develop a growth mindset where they are willing to learn from their peers and to follow their passions. Lazos will explore how teachers in a one room schoolhouse employed this method of teaching and learning and how this style of learning can be implemented today.
