Scott Newman, a field service historian working for the Preservation Trust of Vermont, will be giving the Isle La Motte's Historical Society lecture on the Historical Architecture of rural Vermont at our annual meeting on Friday, July 14, at 7 pm in the Fisk Farm Barn. Scott wrote his master’s historical architecture thesis on the Stone Buildings of Northern Vermont that included the buildings in Isle La Motte. This event is free and open to the public. Prior to the lecture there will be a short business meeting of the Historical Society members. This is a great way to spend a beautiful summer night. All are welcome.
