July 7, is the 93rd birthday of "The Cincinnati Cobra," Ezzard Mac Charles, World Heavyweight Boxing Champion 1948-51. Better than that, he was a respected double bass player, gigging with some of the great jazz players of the 40's and 50's. Wild!
