Communal Reading of Frederick Douglass Speech

Join the North Hero Public Library in a communal reading of the fiery July 5, 1852, speech in which the great abolitionist orator Frederick Douglass took exception to being asked to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Discussion and refreshments to follow.
Copies of the speech are available at the library if you would like to read it beforehand.
