Celebrate the harvest and Native American Month at ECHO's nine-day HarvestFest, November 23-Dec. 1. Enjoy storytelling, drumming, films and presentations. Learn about the "three sisters” of food: corn, beans and squash. Presenters on various days include Dr. Fred Wiseman, Chief Don Stevens (Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk-Abenaki Nation), and Melody Walker Brooks (traditional finger weaver, photographer, beadworker and interpreter of wampum belts). Exclusive ECHO-produced films focusing on our region’s Native American heritage will be shown every day during the celebration. Delicious traditional 'three sisters' food will be available by Sugarsnap in ECHO's cafe. Bring a non-perishable food item (to be donated to the VT FoodBank) and receive $2 off of your admission (one per customer, cannot be combined with other offers or discounts). There are very special activities scheduled on different days except for Thanksgiving Day when ECHO is closed. For more information, please visit http://www.echovermont.org.
