Morrisville 4th of July Events

11:00 am: The day begins with the national anthem being sung by Jacqueline & Veronique Bartlett at the judging booth, corner of Main and Congress Street and the parade beginning at CCV, corner of Harrell and Munson Avenue. The theme is SPACE, please dress the part, make your float spectacular, spruce up your home or business along the route or just get out your chairs and enjoy the parade. Line up and registration for the parade is at 9 am.
There will be lots of great food available in town, chicken BBQ at the VFW, burgers & dogs at Morrisville Fire Department, strawberry shortcakes, hotdogs and lemonade at United Community Church of Morrisville and so much more.

10:00-1:00: Morristown Centennial Library’s annual book sale

12:15 pm: There will be a rededication of the Soldier Statue at Memorial Park followed by a rifle salute by The Vermont Civil War Hemlocks.

2:00 pm: Morrisville Rotary’s annual duck race in the park at the corner of Copley Avenue and Park Street.

2:00 pm: Community baseball game, come out and join a team, or just be a cheerleader. Morrisville Fire Department against Morristown Rescue

3:30 pm: 2nd Annual Barb McAlister/Fred King Fiddler’s Contest, Oxbow Riverfront Park, registration beginning at 2:00, the contest begins at 3:30pm. Bring your chairs or blanket and come out and enjoy some good ole fiddling

6:30 pm: Live music featuring the Irish punk band, The Copouts, on stage at Oxbow Riverfront Park

Followed by fireworks at dusk, Oxbow Riverfront Park
