The Peacham Farmers Market is Thursday from 4-7pm. Join us for an Evening of Music, Shopping at the Market, and Dinner at the Peacham Cafe.
Here's what is available this week:
- Laurie Wright of Barnet Mountain Meats is a new vendor this week. She will be selling Apple Tree Smoked Bacon.
- Peaked Moon Farm will be bringing a variety of seasonal vegetables and herbs, along with pasture raised pork, beef, lamb, and chicken. In addition they will be selling farmstead cheeses, yogurt and a variety of sourdough breads.
- Artesano will be selling two ice creams: Bee's Knees (peanut butter ice cream with honey drizzled in) and Oreo Cookies n' Cream. Mom and son will also be selling honey, vinegar and their Daily Tonic.
- Our First Rate Cookie Bakers are making their famous Chocolate Chip, and Peanut Butter Cookies; in addition, they will be selling potted strawberry plants.
- Stark Hollow Farm is offering all their delicious cuts of certified 100% grass fed Icelandic lamb and their forest raised pork, as well as a selection of fiber products. This week’s special is sweet Italian pork sausage at 30% off.
- Kempton Farm will be selling: Peacham’s Old
Fashioned Maple Syrup, Maple Butter and Maple Sugar Cakes, and their Authoritative Mustard.
- Our baker and hand-crafter is back selling whoopie pies, tea cakes, banana bread, apple bread, spice cakes and children hats and scarfs. Plus hand drawn sparkled stationery.
- Surprise: there will be a few boxes of delicious strawberries for sale at the Town Tent. Selling them first come, first served at 4 PM Thursday.
- The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) will again be handing out free "warm weather" kits containing: sun screen, insect repellent, a tick removal kit, and information on avoiding warm weather diseases.
- The Cafe dinner is fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and chicken or vegetarian Thai curry prepared by Merry Colony of Milarepa Center and Dawn Holtz of Seyon Lodge. All proceeds from the dinner will go to Milarepa Center. Beer and wine are also available. All proceeds from drinks & desserts go to the Peacham Cafe.
- And, as always, - there will be delightful music while you shop.
