July 4th is the 35th Annual Clarence DeMar 5k at the Folsom School. Join GMAA for a flat, fast and fun 5k- the race starts at 8:30am. It’s a great event for families. There is a free 1/4 mile kids race at 8:15am starting near the Folsom School playground. All racers will enjoy watermelon and Ben and Jerry’s. Prizes include homemade strawberry jam and raffle prizes from great local businesses. $20 to pre-register and $25 race day. The first 250 to register receive a commemorative 35th Anniversary Mug! The race benefits the South Hero Rescue.
