Building a Better World—Pollinator Festival: Saturday, July 1st 10:30am - Windsor Public Library is teaming up with Cider Hill Gardens! Speaker Annie White of Nectar Landscape Design Studio discusses the plight of pollinators, introduces some of our local pollinator species, and talks about designing pollinator-friendly landscapes. While the adults relax,
the kids will be busy with their own speaker, stories, crafts, and activities. We will also have a beehive behind glass that everyone can safely observe, courtesy of Amy and Ron of Green Root Farm in Weathersfield. Artist Gary Milek will exhibit prints that contain bumblebees and bugs on the flowers. Excited to start your own garden? Cider Hill will have
pollinator plants available as well as honey products and more. This event will be held at Cider Hill Gardens, 1747 Hunt Road, Windsor. For more info call Windsor Library at 802-674-2556, www.windsorlibrary.org
