The public is invited to the Addison County Republican Committee’s 2017 Ice Cream Social at River’s Edge Campground (west of Vergennes) on the evening of Wednesday, June 28. The guest speakers are Vermont Governor Phil Scott and Don Turner, the Minority Leader of the Vermont House of Representatives. Admission is by donation. The event, at 47 Donovan Lane, off Basin Harbor Road, in Ferrisburgh, runs from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., rain or shine.
Addison County Republican Committee Chairman Jon Christiano of New Haven stated, “This promises to be a most enjoyable event, pairing delicious refreshments -served in a beautiful outdoor setting - with a perfect opportunity for citizens to hear directly from Governor Scott and from Rep. Don Turner.”
The Honorable Philip Scott’s campaign for Governor last year was about leading Vermont forward, building a stronger economy, and making Vermont more affordable.
