The next meeting of the Northfield Promise Community will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 5:30-6:30 at the United Church of Northfield (downstairs). The agenda consists primarily of reviewing the three main ideas for projects and deciding on the one we'll be starting with. The three ideas are creating a parent/child center, starting a licensed daycare facility or developing more outdoors activities such as a centrally located playground.

The purpose of Promise Community, an initiative of the Vermont Agency of Human Services, is to find ways to support all of Northfield's children ages 0-5 (and their families) and to ensure they are kindergarten ready. If this goal is something you believe in, add your voice to this work and come to our next meeting.

The meeting will be one hour, childcare will be provided and the church is fully accessible for those with mobility issues.
