The 4th Annual Wells River Picnic and Ice Cream Social will be held Rain or Shine June 24th, 9:00am - 2:00pm at the Berry Field
at 143 Main St. N just south of the village.
Several new events and activities have been added this year - a flea market, food to purchase, children activities and music have been added to the usual events of bring your own picnic, The Historical Society Story Corps Tent and the Baldwin Library sponsored Family program.
The schedule is: Flea Market 9:00am - 2:00pm jewelry, hand made bags, quilted items, farmer's market items, books,
toys and LuLa Roe clothes, Pampered Chef, Thirty -One Gifts, Scentsy, Glassware, note cards
Music 10:00am - Noon - Pam and the Rusty Rangers
Story Corps 11:00am - 1:00pm - Newbury Historical Society - Record a story about Newbury.
Food +/- 11:00am - 1:00pm- Purchase your own picnic, hot dogs, soda, chips, lemonade, kettle corn
VINS 1:00pm - +/- 1:45pm Sponsored by Baldwin Memorial Library - Raptors and Raptor nest building.
Ice Cream 1:45pm - FREE ICE CREAM SERVED BY WRAP
The wider Wells River Community is invited to come enjoy our wonderful park, visit with some of your neighbors, enjoy a picnic, hear some music or a tell a story, shop at the flea market, or learn about raptors in an entertaining way, and have some ice cream. Attendees should bring their own chairs, blankets, pop-up canopies, non-alcoholic beverages and insect repellent and sun block.
