My Gay Banjo and Sam Gleaves Performance

Join the Plainfield Opera House for a special concert featuring singer-songwriters Sam Gleaves and duo My Gay Banjo.

My Gay Banjo is Owen Taylor and Julia Steele Allen on guitar, banjo, uke and vocals. Singing homespun gay-themed duets and occasional queered-up mash-ups, My Gay Banjo plays songs for you and your kind. http://www.mygaybanjo.com/

Sam Gleaves performs mountain music with a sense of history. Born and raised in Wytheville, Virginia, Sam learned old time music from mentors in the community and he writes songs in the Appalachian tradition that speak to contemporary issues. http://www.samgleaves.com/
