Barry Deitz will discuss “Writers in Love: The Brownings and the Fitzgeralds,” two writing couples who became as famous for their romance as for their writings, at the Manchester Community Library. Deitz will look at the challenges of having two writers under one roof, the gender issues involved during their eras, and the legacy of these writers and their times. Deitz is back at the Library by popular demand, having wowed audiences with talks on Charles Dickens and the Writing of A Christmas Carol and Edgar Allan Poe. "Writers in Love" is part of the Library's Summer Wednesdays Series, which is sponsored by Four Seasons Sotheby's International Realty.
