On Sunday July 9, 2017 the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum will hold its annual Challenge Race which is a 3 mile triangular race course across the lake and then back to its harbor. The course covers some of the most beautiful scenery on Lake Champlain. The race to open to all types of human powered boats-bring your own kayaks, canoes paddleboats, paddle boards, row boats—whatever you can power yourself! This event has a $25.00 registration fee per person. Registration begins at 9:30 and the race begins at 11:00.
