The Book & Leaf bookstore in Brandon is hosting a reading on Thursday from three award winning authors, Gary Margolis, Michael Palma, and Joyce Thomas. All three have published books of poetry which range from the mythic folktale realm to questions of nature and the human heart. There will also be an Open Mic for poets and prose writers (five minute max - open mic goes first, then the scheduled authors). I've been going to their author events lately and they're always great.
