We would like to invite you to a special event, a François S. Clemmons recital and fundraiser: Swing Low, Sweet Chariot: Diva Man, shares his journey from American Negro Spirituals to Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood!, Sunday, June 25 at 4 pm, Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society, 2 Duane Court (near MUHS). François will sing, of course, and he will also share some of his experiences of race in America. This year is the 50th anniversary of Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood and Francois will weave in some stories about his many years working with Fred Rogers on the show. These will all be valuable gifts to our community in these challenging times. No one turned away. Free will donations welcome.
