Did you ever wonder how you would fare if you found yourself stranded in the wilderness?
Join Northfield High School teacher and "Wild-ologist" Luke Foley and explore building a better world through the fundamentals of wilderness survival. You will be challenged to look at the natural world through a new perspective in order to better understand its resources, as well as your own resourcefulness as you immerse yourself in the core elements of staying alive. Skills covered will include fire by friction, debris shelters, tracking, water and food procurement, cordage, improvised cutting devices, and many other essentials for "SurThrival". Program is free to attend and open to ages 7-13, however registration is required. Please contact us at moretownlibrary@gmail.com or 496-9728 for more details or to sign up.
