The Castleton Free Library welcomes Ellen Moriarty, Education and Outreach Director from the South Champlain Historical Ecology Program, Thursday, June 22nd at 7:00 P.M. Please join us for a presentation with a short overview of archaeology followed by a more in depth talk on the SCHEP program. In May, SCHEP began a second season of excavations in West Haven at the Nature Conservancy's Buckner Preserve (where there is evidence of people on the landscape as early as 11,000 years ago!). We hope that individuals who attend the presentation might then have an interest in participating as volunteers in the project over the summer.

The Program is free, open to all and is accessible. Light refreshments will be served.
