Town of Warren: Wildlife Assessment Report

The Warren Conservation Commission will be hosting Arrowwood Environmental’s presentation on their study of the Town of Warren’s recently acquired parcel commonly referred to as the old Top Gas Station. The parcel includes the old gas station, now converted to an traveler’s information station and 50+ acres on the east side of the Mad River. This parcel has been understood to have significant wildlife importance, so after acquisition by the Town the Warren Conservation Commission, which is tasked with developing land management plans for Town land conducted a two year wildlife use study.

AE will present its findings and recommendations regarding the wildlife and natural resource value of this parcel to the Town of Warren on June 27, at 5:30 pm in the Warren Library (2nd floor).

This public meeting is a chance for the Valley community to learn directly about the study, it’s conclusion and the process for the Commission to develop the parcel’s management plan.
