On Sat. June 24 from 10:30-12:00 the Martha Canfield Library will host a Fairy and Elf Garden Event at the Arlington Rec Park. Families are invited to join us along the walking path at the Arlington Recreation Park where we will begin creating a Fairy and Elf Garden space, using all natural materials. You may bring collections of rocks, pine cones, small sticks or other natural materials that you may have. We will read a short story to begin the program, followed by children and families creating tiny houses in a designated area. This area will remain available throughout the year for walkers along the path to enjoy or build new houses. Don’t forget your bug and tick repellant. Bring a picnic lunch if you want to stay after the program. Call the Library at 375-6153 if you have any questions.
