The Basement Teen Center's Amazing Race is coming up on June 24th from 10am-2pm. The 7th year of this event marks our graduation from Hogwarts and to celebrate the Amazing Race is Harry Potter themed! In order to succeed at this fun, family-friendly event you must use the Marauders Map and magic clues to navigate from location to location around Montpelier. Once at a location you and your three teammates will need to complete a team challenge from the wizarding world in order to get your next clue. There will be 8-10 stations around town, sponsored by local businesses and organizations. At the finish line, which is near Platform 9 3/4, there'll be a delectable Hogwart's Feast, Quidditch, and of course all the butterbeer you can handle!

We are looking for one or two more teams and a couple more volunteers and, of course, donations! Because this is a fundraiser for the Basement Teen Center we do ask teams try to raise at least $100 on our fundraising page - crowdrise.com/btcamazingrace2017. For help starting a team please email us - it's a simple process.

The Basement Teen Center sees about 180 individual youth annually. We provide fun, healthy, and safe alternatives to youth ages 12-18 during the times of day when they are most likely to engage in high-risk behaviors. Please support us any way you can! Thank you!
