White Fragility Talk

Past event
Aug 26, 2017, 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Saturday, August 26 from 3:30-4:30pm, White Fragility Talk at the Peace & Justice Center, 60 Lake Street, Burlington.

White Fragility is a state in which even a small amount of racial stress becomes intolerable for a white person. Recognizing and naming it can be a helpful way to stay engaged in discussions about racism and in ongoing racial justice work, even when it is uncomfortable. People are encouraged to arrive at 3pm to participate in a PJC New Volunteer Orientation.
