Friends of Northern Lake Champlain and the Georgia Conservation Commission present Homesteading for Clean Water: A Farm Table Conservation Series
Join FNLC and our partners at the Georgia Conservation Commission for an educational evening focused on water-friendly homesteading. Experts from UVM Extension’s Northwest Crops & Soils Team, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets will deliver presentations on topics including watershed science, soil health and erosion, and simple conservation practices, and Vermont’s new water quality legislation, Act 64.

Gain practical tools for keeping essential nutrients on your land, and out of Lake Champlain!
Date: Thursday, June 22nd 6:30-8:30 PM
Location: Georgia Stone School, 2442 Polly Hubbard Road, Georgia, VT

Lite, local refreshments will be provided.
Each attendee will be entered into a raffle to win a FREE soil test!
