Only one month to go!!!! Walkers are welcome. Let’s all help the UVM Children’s Hospital. The ILM Rec Dept. welcomes donations to offset our race expenses. Checks may be made payable to the Town of Isle La Motte, POB 250, Isle La Motte, VT 05463 referencing the ILM 5K. We are very pleased that half of our net proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. The UVM Children’s Hospital has the advantage of being one of 90 plus care centers in the US that are participating in ImproveCareNow. ImproveCareNow is a network of pediatric gastroenterologists working together to improve the health and care of children and youth with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. In addition patients and families are engaged in ImproveCareNow. Because clinicians, patients, parents and researchers are collaborating to improve care and health, more children and youth with Crohn’s disease and UC are now feeling well instead of sick today. The remission rate has increased from 50 percent to over 80 percent. The UVM children’s Hospital , its clinicians and staff, as well as patients and families are benefiting from this collaboration.

Short sleeved Tech shirts will be provided to the first 200 entrants 14 years and older. Prizes to the top male and female finishers. There will be prizes for most age categories and random prize drawings for all to win. Prizes for all half mile finishers. Food/water for all participants.
