Cub Scout Fishing and Fun at Indian Brook Park

Past event
Jun 17, 2017, 9:30 to 11 AM

Have a boy entering Kindergarten through 5th grade next Fall? Come out and learn more about joining the Cub Scouts. Essex Junction Pack 630 will be hosting an open Fishing and Fun event at Indian Brook Park from 9:30-11 AM on Saturday 6/17 for any families interested in Scouting. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the Pack's Scouts and Leaders and find out what Cub Scouting is all about.

Cub Scouting is a year-round family-centered program designed to help boys develop character, good citizenship, and physical, mental and moral fitness - all while having fun enjoying the outdoors, games, STEM activities, and much more with their friends.

Pack 630 will provide bait, snacks and drinks and will have a few extra poles on hand. Bring your fishing gear if you have it. Kids may fish without a license, adults must have a license of they wish to fish.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend and indicate in the comments if you need a park pass. We will be arranging for additional temporary park passes through the Town for those who need them. For more information contact Pack 630 recruiter, John Terborgh 802-999- 2878 or jterborgh@yahoo.com.
