Beyond Socks and Sweaters: Twenty-five years of Knitters Speaking Out

For the past twenty-five years artists have been using knitting to communicate social messages. Eve Jacobs-Carnahan will trace this history in a talk illustrated with bold, colorful images on FRIDAY, JUNE 16 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Emile A Gruppe Gallery , 22 Barber Farm Road Jericho. The talk is free and all are invited. This talk is part of the Surface Design Association's show currently exhibiting at the gallery.
