This Thursday, June 15th at 7 pm, Brookfielder Jon Binhammer, Director of Land Protection at The Nature Conservancy, will guide us on a journey to some of Vermont's "Special Places." In his twenty-six years at TNC, Jon’s conservation work has made a significant impact in Vermont. He has led the permanent protection of over 26,000 acres statewide and helped conserve some of Vermont’s most cherished places, such as Green River Reservoir and Black Mountain, while expanding conservation holdings at Shelburne Pond and LaPlatte River Marsh.
An avid birder, botanist and naturalist, he is also an educator at heart—leading field trips, informing conservation practices, and sharing with all those around him, his passion for the natural world and the importance of its protection and stewardship. Come discover new treasures to visit this summer! This event, and the entire 2017 season, is sponsored by The Frankenburg Agency of Randolph.
